Natalie A.
Hi, I’m Natalie! I started my teaching journey over five years ago in Ukraine as a nanny and English tutor. After moving to the U.S., I worked in early childhood education—first as a teacher in a 1’s classroom, then as a program supervisor, and now as the assistant director at Birch Tree Academy. I’m passionate about creating nurturing, consistent environments for children and supporting families through strong communication and thoughtful care.

I began my career in early childhood education six years ago, focusing on infant care within a childcare center. Over time, I transitioned into leadership as an assistant director, supporting both families and staff. My approach centers on child development through social-emotional techniques that promote resilience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills in young children. Originally from Arizona, I moved to the Pacific Northwest from New Mexico in the summer of 2025 and enjoy discovering all that Washington has to offer with my dogs Moose and Bear. I hold an AA in Multicultural Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Infant and Toddler Family Studies, and I’m currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree to further strengthen my impact in the field.
