I'm passionate about creating a warm, safe, and inspiring environment where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. I began my journey in early childhood education more than five years ago in Ukraine. I hold a law degree as well as an Early Childhood Education credential, and I enjoy combining my educational background with my passion for helping young children learn and thrive. I believe that strong partnerships with families are the foundation of a child's success, and I strive to create a welcoming community where children, parents, and teachers feel connected and supported. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my lovely cat and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I believe that each child should be celebrated for their uniqueness, and that early childhood education provides the foundation for the lifelong process of learning. Most of my adult life, I have been working with children as a preschool teacher in addition to running a program that provides early intervention. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and I completed a dual master’s program in education. I was born and raised in a small town in Arizona and moved to Washington several years ago. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, participating in community events, and spending time with my husband, daughter, dogs, family, and friends. I am also looking forward to building quality relationships with the children, families, and staff here at Birch Tree.
